About Us

The Marvin Center Governing Board is one of the most unique organizations on campus because its members are not just students, but also are faculty, staff and administrators.

MCGB (as it is commonly referred to) meets monthly to discuss policy, programming and student concerns that are happening in the Marvin Center. The meetings are public, and all people in the university community are welcomed to attend.

The MCGB has been around since the Marvin Center was built in 1969. Along with the Student Association, Residence Hall Association, Program Board and Cherry Tree Yearbook we are a chartered organization. By having a charter we are able to be an important part of the university.
